Artbox.com® — from here on labeled “the Site” — is owned, operated and presented to users by Artbox, LLC (“Artbox”). Our Privacy Policy covers information obtained by the Site, including the data we collect, how it’s collected, use, and disclose personal information. Safeguarding all the personal information is of paramount concern to Artbox.com®.
The Site routinely logs website information regarding your, and other visitors’ activity. That data is aggregated, but will not be uniquely identifiable to any visitor. The information is used for visitor metrics, security analysis, and performance optimization. We also use the information to identify trends across our membership to help us improve our Site — and the services provided to you. We may also share aggregated trend metrics with third-party partners and advertisers, but we never share personal information — ever.
When you register as a member of Artbox.com®, we collect some personal information during the process — name, email address, professional discipline, member username and password. This information is used to provide you with services and support. Members voluntarily fill in a profile and add content to their portfolio. This information, except your email address and password, may be made publicly available on Artbox and is readable/discoverable by other members.
Ads may be placed inside the Site to target specific disciplines, but no personal information is shared with advertisers.
Artbox.com® may use your email address to send you member instructions/information and may send you other messages pertaining to your account and your privacy.
When you upgrade to paid status, we collect your billing address, phone number, and credit card information to bill you and provide the services you requested. Your credit card information is not stored within the Site — instead it is stored in Artbox.com®’x PCI DSS-compliant payment processor for the sole purpose of providing payment for services provided by the Site.
If the member chooses to register a domain name via the Site, the Site will provide the the name, phone number, and address in order to register the domain. This information is not exposed in public WHOIS databases.
Artbox.com® uses a session cookie to keep track of a "session id" while you are browsing our website. No personal or identifying information is stored in that cookie. This "session" cookie is deleted when you exit the web browser. We do not have any third party ad services using cookies on our website. We do use Google Analytics for website analytics, which uses several persistent cookies, which may be removed here.
All sensitive personal information is encrypted using SSL on our servers. We do not store your credit card information. This is stored at our payment processor, which is PCI-DSS compliant. The other personal information is stored in our system and has appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access.
