Two Central Connecticut institutions acquired Lauren's works for their permanent collections this summer. The watercolor titled 'Seashells', painted after the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, was placed in the permanent collection of the New Britain Museum of American Art. Also, the Hartford Public Library accquired a two panel cartagraphic watercolor of the Park River which Lauren produced for the Hartford History Center's summer ArtWalk exhibition 'There's a Map for That'.
