Work Experience

I just recently completed an MFA in Communications Design at the Pratt Institute. My thesis focused on conceptualizing and expressing my previous professional experiences working with those in poverty.

Prior to returning to school, I managed affordable housing and community development/planning projects for a non-profit affordable housing and social service provider in Westchester County. Specific project management experience includes building finance, construction and urban planning/design. I also organized and conducted neighborhood meetings and created and delivered numerous presentations to community stakeholders, ranging from city and town boards to local resident groups.

In all, I have seven years of nonprofit experience, a Masters Degree in Community Development and Planning and have served as a guest lecturer in classes at the Rhode Island School of Design, Hunter College, Pratt Institute and City Tech.
